A Bengali comfort dish. Potatoes cooked in a thick poppy seed paste. It has a nutty flavor and induces a nice nap afterwards.

Ingredients
Instructions
Soak poppy seeds in water for 30 mins.
Grind seeds with 1 green chilli to a fine paste.
Heat mustard oil, temper with kalonji.
Add potatoes and fry for 5 mins.
Add the paste and splash of water.
Cover and cook until potatoes are soft and paste coats them.
Drizzle raw mustard oil on top before serving.
